The Atmospheric Modeling sub-group uses a variety of numerical modeling tools to investigate our questions of interest. These include the transition of weak vorticity anomalies in easterly waves to mature tropical cyclones, the interaction between tropical cyclones and the overturning tropical circulation, and the tropical cloud feedback processes.
