Delián Colón Burgos, Nick Mesa, and Lauren Beard participated in the CSU Graduate Student Showcase. This year’s showcase provided them with the opportunity to present their research to a wide range of graduate students and judges while networking with other researchers. Nice work Nick, Lauren, and Delián! Delián earned an Honorable Mention Great Minds in Research in Research Award. Congratulations Delián!

Nick Mesa’s presented, “A Global Analysis of Environmental Factors Underlying Tropical Cyclone Rapid Intensification”. and

Lauren Beard presented, “Seeing Inside Storms with Radar: How Air Motion Shapes Rainfall”.
The Graduate Student Showcase highlighted the research and entrepreneurial work of roughly 275 graduate students at Colorado State University. The Showcase involved both presenting the research and additional live performances. The gradaute students presented their work to Faculty, staff, and postdoctoral scholars.
